El Cajon, CA – Woman Struck By Car On Southbound SR-67 Near I-8

El Cajon, CA (May 4, 2019) – A pedestrian accident involving a vehicle occurred on May 3 just after 12 p.m., injuring one person.

California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of this injury accident. The crash occurred just after 12:10 p.m. on southbound SR-67, just north of Interstate 8. According to CHP officers, the woman moved into traffic and was then hit by a Chevrolet Cruze.

Emergency responders were called to the scene to render aid the injured pedestrian. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment and further evaluation.

The accident is currently under investigation.
