El Centro, CA – 10-Year-Old Girl Injured in Pedestrian Accident on Main Street

El Centro, CA (February 6, 2019) On Monday, the 4^th of February, an injury pedestrian accident involving a young girl and a pick-up truck occurred near 2370 West Main Street at around 2:30 p.m.  According to the authorities, a white pick-up truck struck a 10-year-old girl near the Sunflower Elementary School.

When police and emergency crews arrived at the crash scene and rendered aid to the young victim as they contacted REACH Air Ambulance Services to life-flight the injured girl to a nearby hospital for treatment.  Her condition is not known at this time.

The police are currently investigating the accident to find out how this terrible incident transpired.

Our thoughts are with the young girl and her family as she begins the long road to recovery from her injuries.  We hope that the driver of the truck did not suffer any injuries and will be able to find peace and comfort after such a traumatic event.
