Garden Grove, CA – Woman Injured in Pedestrian Accident on Garden Grove Boulevard

Garden Grove, CA (January 29, 2019) – A woman who has not yet been identified was seriously injured in a pedestrian accident that took place on Garden Grove Boulevard.

The accident took place on Saturday evening around 10:45 p.m. At the time, the woman had been in the parking lot of the Arco Service Station on Garden Grove Boulevard. She was suddenly struck by a vehicle for reasons that are not known.

When paramedics arrived at the scene, they found the victim pinned under the vehicle. They used jacks to lift the vehicle and she was then transported to the hospital.

Last evening, police reported that the woman was recovering from her injuries and was listed in critical condition. The driver involved in the accident stayed at the scene to cooperate with police.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances leading up to the accident.
