Hesperia, CA – Boy Injured in Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Manzanita Street

Hesperia, CA (April 24, 2019) On the evening of April 23^rd, a fatal pedestrian accident happened in the 16000 block of Manzanita Street. Reports indicate that a family was in a vehicle about to leave their driveway when they struck the child at around 4:50 p.m.

When paramedics arrived to help the child, they found him suffering serious injuries and immediately began performing life-saving measures. They then took him to Desert Valley Hospital for further treatment. Unfortunately, the child did not survive his injuries.

The Hesperian Police Department is currently conducting a thorough investigation of the accident.
