Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accidents in California
The main cause of hit-and-run pedestrian accidents is negligence, and the reason drivers fail to remain at the scene after striking a pedestrian is because they fear the consequences of facing their wrongdoings. Negligence includes speeding, using a cell phone, driving under the influence, falling asleep at the wheel, and more.
Once the police find the two drivers, they’ll likely face fines and jail time. The deceased man’s family could hire a California wrongful death attorney to help them file a wrongful death lawsuit.
At Brady Law Group, we specialize in wrongful death lawsuits because we don’t believe families should be left with the financial burden of paying for damages caused by other negligent drivers.
