Lemon Grove, CA – Teen Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Accident At San Miguel Ave.

Lemon Grove, CA (May 5, 2019) – A pedestrian accident involving a 14-year-old boy occurred on May 3 at 6:20 p.m. that took the boy’s life.

California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of this fatal accident. According to CHP officers, the crash occurred in front of San Miguel Elementary School, located at 7059 San Miguel Ave.

Emergency responders were called to the scene to render aid. The injured boy was transported to Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego for treatment and further evaluation. Sadly, he did not survive his injuries from this accident.

The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated fully with investigators. Alcohol or drugs were not believed to be a factor in the incident.
