Los Angeles, CA- I-405 Near Artesia Blvd. Site of Fatal Pedestrian Crash

Los Angeles, CA (May 6, 2019)- A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a vehicle on the 405 Freeway (San Diego Fwy.) near Artesia Boulevard, near Torrance, on Sunday.

60-year-old Lawndale resident Jose Cigarroa died at around 4:25 am after being struck while walking on the southbound side of the roadway. He was pronounced dead at the site of the crash.

No further details, including details about the driver of the vehicle that hit Cigarroa, are available at this time.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
