Los Angeles, CA- Pedestrian Dead After Hit-and-Run at Melrose Ave and Ogden Dr

Los Angeles, CA (May 16, 2019)- The Los Angeles Police Department reported a fatal hit-and-run accident that left a pedestrian dead in the Fairfax area near the intersection of Melrose Avenue and Ogden Drive.

The crash took place on Wednesday at around 10:10 pm for reasons unknown. The driver who hit the pedestrian did not stop or aid the victim.

Emergency medical personnel were called to the crash scene, where the victim was declared dead.

The victim’s name has not been released pending family notification.

The crash is under investigation. The LAPD asks anyone with information to call 877-527-3247. Anonymous tips may also be reported to the LA Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
