Pedestrian Accidents in California
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, a pedestrian is killed in an accident every 1.5 hours. What might seem harmless to a driver–such as backing up in a parking lot or trying to pass cars stopped at an intersection–could cause a serious injury to a pedestrian. All drivers are required to stay alert to their surroundings at all times, in order to prevent from getting into a devastating car accident. However, many drivers focus on other vehicles and don’t take pedestrians into consideration.
