Los Angeles, CA – Yong Do Kim Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Accident on 6th and Grand View Streets

Los Angeles, CA (January 24, 2019) On the night of January 23^rd, a fatal pedestrian accident happened at the intersection of 6^th St. and Grand View St.   According to the reports, a vehicle driven by 38-year-old Rosario Valdezinda struck a 65-year-old man named Yong Do Kim. Witnesses saw Valdezinda using a WhatsApp application on her cell phone when the accident happened. She initially attempted to flee the scene, but two witnesses stopped her.

When emergency crews arrived at the scene to help, they found Kim dead on the roadway.

Authorities arrested Valdezinda and charged her with suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter.
