Midway City, CA – One Injured in Hit-and-Run Accident at Maidson Avenue

Midway, CA (February 2, 2019) – Police reported that a pedestrian was seriously injured in a hit-and-run accident that took place at Maidson Avenue and Newland Street on Friday morning. The California Highway Patrol investigated the accident.

Police responded around 11:07 a.m. when the pedestrian was struck down in the traffic lanes. A witness came forward with the license plate number and the police believed that the vehicle in question returned to the scene of the accident.

Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to assist the injured pedestrian but, at this time, it is not known how severe the injuries were, just that they required hospitalization.

Police continue to search for evidence and determine liability in this accident.
