Moreno Valley, CA – Fatal Pedestrian Accident Takes Place on Heacock Street

Moreno Valley, CA (February 5, 2019) – Early yesterday, February 4 around 4 a.m., a man was struck by a vehicle in a fatal pedestrian accident that happened on Heacock Street.

Various witnesses stayed at the scene of the accident to speak with police. One witness said that they saw the victim stepping onto the street, which is when a southbound vehicle was driving through the area and was unable to stop in time.

Riverside County Sheriff’s Department deputies arrived at the scene just south of Fawn Avenue to find that the pedestrian was tragically deceased at the scene.

The driver who struck the pedestrian stayed at the scene of the accident and cooperated with investigators. At this time, the investigation into the accident continues.
