Moreno Valley, CA – Two Woman Injured in Pedestrian Accident at Perris Boulevard
Moreno Valley, CA (January 19, 2019) – Police say that two women were injured in a pedestrian accident that happened at the intersection of Fir Avenue and Perris Boulevard.
The accident took place last evening around 7:45 p.m. and police deemed it a ‘hit-and-run’ based on the fact that the driver left the scene. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene of the accident to find that the two women, who have not yet been identified, were walking near the intersection when they were suddenly struck by a passing vehicle.
Paramedics responded to the scene and attended to both women, who were injured in the accident. One woman suffered moderate injuries while the other received minor wounds, and both were transported to the hospital for treatment.
The suspect vehicle was identified as a work truck. It was last seen headed east on Sunnymead Boulevard.
Authorities continue their investigation into the incident at this time.
