Mountain View, CA – Joseph Polston Killed in Pedestrian Crash on El Camino Real

Mountain View, CA (February 7, 2019) – Police responded to a pedestrian crash that took the life of a man identified as 61-year-old Joseph Polston. He was killed by a car around 8:50 p.m.

The accident took place in the 100 block of East El Camino Real close to the area of Yuba Drive. Police say that Polston stepped off the pavement and into the roadway while a car was traveling west, which caused them to collide.

Polston was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, according to authorities. The driver who struck Polston stopped at the scene of the accident and cooperated with investigators.
