Redlands, CA – Fatal Pedestrian Accident on 10 Freeway Near Orange Street

Redlands, CA (January 30, 2019) – On Saturday, January 26, a fatal pedestrian accident took place on the 10 Freeway near Orange Street. The accident took place around 6:43 p.m. when an unidentified man was struck by a vehicle in the eastbound lanes.

Police have not yet identified the man who lost his life in the accident and witnessed nor police have discovered why he was on the road at the time. Responding emergency teams showed up immediately to find that the black male adult was already tragically deceased at the scene.

Several vehicles involved in the accident stopped at the scene to cooperate with police. The next-of-kin is being notified at this time before the individual’s name is released.

Police are not sure why he was walking in the area but are investigating at this time.
