Riverside, CA – Danny Gonzales Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Spruce St

Riverside, CA (June 24, 2019) On the evening of June 23^rd, a fatal pedestrian accident happened on Spruce Street, not too far from Atlanta Avenue. A white Lexus was headed westbound on Spruce Street when it struck a pedestrian for unspecified reasons. The accident occurred at around 9:45 p.m.

When the paramedics arrived, they found the injured pedestrian lying in the roadway unconscious. Despite many attempts to revive the injured victim, he passed away at the scene. He has been identified as 26-year-old Danny Gonzales.

The Riverside County Major Accident Investigation Team is currently investigating the collision to determine why the driver struck Gonzales.
