Sacramento, CA – Motorized Bike Hits and Kills Pedestrian Near H Street and San Miguel Way
Sacramento, California (March 28, 2019) – A collision between a motorized bicycle and a 73-year-old pedestrian left the pedestrian dead on Saturday, March 23rd.
Reportedly, the accident took place around 5:00 p.m. in the area of H Street and San Miguel Way. The victim was crossing at the intersection when he was hit by the motorized bike. He suffered major injuries due to the crash and was taken to the hospital, where he was soon pronounced dead.
The driver of the motorized bike also sustained injuries and was hospitalized. The extent of the injuries is unknown at this time.
H Street was closed until 8:00 p.m. so police could conduct their investigation. The investigation is currently ongoing.
