San Clemente, CA – One Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Crash in San Clemente

San Clemente, CA (January 27, 2019) – One person lost their life in a fatal pedestrian crash that took place along Avenida Del Presidente on Friday evening around 7 p.m.

A woman in her 30s was struck by a vehicle that had been headed north on Avenida. At this time, police have not confirmed whether or not the victim was walking in the bike lane or northbound lane. The pedestrian tragically lost her life at the scene of the accident.

Deputies confirmed that the driver of the vehicle involved was a woman in her 50s. She stopped after the accident and cooperated with authorities.

At this time, the pedestrian accident remains under investigation.
