San Diego, CA – 1 Injured in Pedestrian Accident on 25th St
San Diego, CA (June 26, 2019) On the late evening of June 25th, a pedestrian accident happened at the intersection of 25th Street and Imperial Avenue. An ice cream truck struck a pedestrian in front of the San Diego Police Department’s Central Station. Shortly after, the ice cream truck hit an electrical circuit box and then a gate. The impact knocked the electrical box off of its base, and the gate sustained damage. The accident happened at around 6:30 p.m.
When the ambulance arrived to help, they found the pedestrian injured with facial lacerations. The injured victim was rushed to the nearest hospital for treatment. Fortunately, the victim is expected to be okay, as the injuries weren’t considered life-threatening.
The major accident is being investigated by authorities at this time as they determine causation.
