San Diego, CA – 11-Year-Old Child Injured in Pedestrian Crash in Parking Lot
San Diego, CA (January 26, 2019) – In San Diego yesterday, January 25, an 11-year-old child was injured in a pedestrian crash that took place in the parking lot of a school. The accident took place around 8 a.m. in the parking lot of the Ocean View Hills School.
The child allegedly ran onto the road, where they were put directly in the line of an Escalade. The 57-year-old woman driving at the time said that she was unable to stop, which caused her to strike the child.
Paramedics arrived at the scene to find that the child had a variety of injuries, including major head trauma. At this time, no information has been released on the driver involved.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances leading up to this accident.
