San Diego, CA – Edward John Quijada Jr. Killed in Pedestrian Accident on 805 Freeway

San Diego, CA (January 28, 2019) – Police reported that one individual identified as 38-year-old Edward John Quijada Jr. was killed in a pedestrian accident that took place on January 25 on the 805 Freeway.

Police say that the man was struck by a driver who was driving in the northbound lanes of the highway at the time. Paramedics immediately responded to the accident around 5:57 p.m. to find that the man suffered severe trauma due to the accident.

Paramedics immediately started on lifesaving measures but, unfortunately, they were unable to save the pedestrian and he died at the scene around 6:10 p.m.

At this time, the California Highway Patrol is heading up the investigation and attempting to determine liability.
