San Diego, CA – Unidentified Man Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Accident on I-805

San Diego, CA (January 26, 2019) – On Thursday of this week, one man lost his life in a fatal pedestrian accident that happened on I-805 in the evening hours. The man has not been identified by police.

Police say that, at the time, the man was in the northbound lanes of Interstate 805 when he was suddenly struck by a vehicle for reasons that are not yet known. Medical personnel were called to the scene, where they found a man in the street with a variety of injuries.

Paramedics attempted to save the life of the man involved but he was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead while there.

The victim was identified as a male in his 30s but his family is still being notified before his name is released.

Police continue their investigation into the matter at this time.
