San Jose, CA- Fatal Pedestrian Accident on the 280 South Freeway Near McLaughlin Ave.
San Jose, CA (March 29, 2019)- A pedestrian accident killed a homeless man running across the 280 South Freeway near McLaughlin Avenue. He was hit around 8:40 am on March 28.
According to reports, a naked man in his 40s ran across the southbound lanes of the 280 South Freeway, where a 2012 Isuzu box truck in lane No. 3 hit him. The truck veered left and collided with a gray 2011 Toyota.
The crash caused a 2015 BMW, which was driving behind the box truck, to swerve away from the pedestrian. Unfortunately, this move could not prevent the pedestrian from being struck.
Six southbound lanes of the freeway were closed due to the accident. They reopened around 11:15 am.
We wish the family of the victim comfort and peace during your time of mourning.
