San Jose, CA – Margaret Urueta Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident on Santa Clara and 10th Streets

San Jose, CA (January 28, 2019) On the 24^th of January, a 59-year-old woman named Margaret Urueta died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident at the intersection of Santa Clara and 10^th streets. According to the reports, Urueta was walking on Santa Clara Street when a vehicle struck her and proceeded to drive off.

When the paramedics arrived, they found Urueta lying in the roadway just a few blocks from the City Hall. Unfortunately, she pronounced dead after being hit at 12:35 a.m.

The police are currently searching for the driver responsible.
