Santa Maria, CA – George F. Whiting Injured in Pedestrian Accident Along Highway 101
Santa Maria, CA (March 19, 2019) – On the morning of March 18th, a serious pedestrian accident happened along Highway 101 just before 6:30 a.m. According to the reports, a pickup truck struck a 32-year-old named George F. Whiting as he walked near the center divider of the highway.
When the paramedics arrived to help, they found him lying on the ground and immediately began performing life-saving measures before transporting him to Marian Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Fortunately, the driver of the pickup truck, 42-year-old Justin Watson, remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities as they investigated and cleared the accident.
