Stockton, CA – Pedestrian Accident Leads to Major Injuries at Intersection

Stockton, CA (February 9, 2019) – A pedestrian accident took place last night that police say led to major injuries. The accident happened at Franklin Avenue and Alpine Avenue.

The California Highway Patrol said that the accident happened around 7:28 p.m. on Friday, February 8 at the intersection when a male pedestrian and the driver of a vehicle collided for reasons that are not yet known. After the crash, the male pedestrian was found lying on the ground with severe trauma.

An ambulance was sent to the accident so that they could rush the pedestrian to the hospital. At this time, police do not know the pedestrian’s current condition.

Traffic delays took place in the westbound lanes of the roadway where the accident occurred. Police continue their investigation at this time.
