Stockton, CA- Pedestrian Killed in Crash on Highway 99 Near Farmington Rd.
Stockton, CA (April 23, 2019)- An accident at approximately 10:39 pm in the northbound lanes of Highway 99 near Farmington Road left a pedestrian dead on Saturday.
Local police stated that a vehicle struck the pedestrian as they were running to cross the highway near Farmington Road. Police stated that the pedestrian might have been under the influence of alcohol when the accident took place. Police do not believe the driver of the vehicle was under the influence.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. After the issue of a SigAlert, three lanes of Highway 99 were closed for approximately one hour so that an investigation into the crash could commence.
