UPDATE: Oxnard, CA – Ricardo Torres Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Mariposa St
Oxnard, CA (May 14, 2019) On the morning of May 11th, a fatal pedestrian accident happened in the 2000 block of Mariposa Street. A vehicle struck a 30-year-old man named Ricardo Torres about a block east of Ventura Road and two blocks from Gonzales Road.
When an ambulance arrived to help, they found Torres lying on the ground seriously injured. They rushed him to Ventura County Medical Center for immediate treatment. Unfortunately, he died at the hospital despite lifesaving attempts by medical professionals.
The police are still investigating this accident to determine what led up to the deadly crash. So far, they’ve discovered that Torres got into an altercation with the 35-year-old driver who stuck him.
