UPDATE: Redondo Beach, CA – Angelina Calderon Pinedo Killed in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Aviation Boulevard

Redondo Beach, CA (January 29, 2019) On the night of January 26^th, a hit-and-run pedestrian accident happened in the 1500 block of Aviation Boulevard at the Grant Avenue intersection. According to the reports, a vehicle struck 21-year-old Angelina Calderon Pinedo at approximately 9:05 p.m. as she was walking on the sidewalk.

A 21-year-old woman named Leila Gonzalez was driving a black Audi Q5 SUV when she struck and killed Pinedo. Unfortunately, the driver proceeded to drive off without stopping.

The police arrested Gonzalez Monday morning and charged her with a felony hit-and-run. She is currently at the Redondo Beach jail with a $50,000 bail.
