Van Nuys, CA – Crash Injures Pedestrian on Burbank Blvd Near Van Nuys Blvd
Van Nuys, CA (March 27, 2019) – A pedestrian sustained serious injuries when he was hit on Burbank Boulevard near Van Nuys Boulevard on Tuesday, around 9:25 p.m.
The crash took place in the 14300 block of Burbank Boulevard. Reportedly, the 911 caller who initially contacted authorities stated that a person had been shot. When officials arrived at the scene, the victim was found to have been hit by a vehicle.
The victim was taken to a local hospital to receive treatment for serious injuries.
The driver who struck the victim remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

When EMTs and paramedics arrive at the scene of a car crash, they will assess the situation. Some patients will need immediate attention, while others may appear unharmed. The medical personnel will check the victim’s ABCs: airway, breathing, and circulation.
