Santee, CA – Man Injured in Hit-and-Run Accident on Magnolia Avenue

Santee, CA (May 7, 2019) On the morning of May 7^th, a hit-and-run accident happened on Magnolia Avenue near the Santee Historical Society. A vehicle struck a 32-year-old after he got out of his car near Chubb Lane. The man had gotten into an argument with his brother and friend right before he got out of the vehicle. They advised him to get back in the car right before the vehicle hit him. The vehicle proceeded to drive off without helping the man. The accident happened at around 5:00 a.m.

When the ambulance arrived, they found him suffering from major head injuries and rushed him to Sharp Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The driver returned to the scene at around 7:00 a.m. and was arrested by the police.
