Pedestrian Accidents in California
In 2013, about 160,388 drivers were arrested in California for driving under the influence. In the state of California, driving under the influence of any drug is deemed illegal. Although many people use marijuana for its ability to induce a feeling of euphoria and relaxation, if a driver takes large doses before getting behind the wheel, they may experience hallucinations or delusions, making them more prone to accidentally striking pedestrians. For pedestrians who have been hit by drivers under the influence, it’s best to immediately contact an experienced California personal injury attorney for legal help.
