Causes of Construction Injuries and Accidents

Construction site accidents and injuries can occur in a variety of ways.  Carelessness, lack of proper site supervision, and failure to follow or enforce proper safety protocols are among the most common root causes of construction site accidents.  Injuries to both workers and non-workers can result from any of these factors.  Other common causes of construction related injuries include ladder or scaffolding failure, lifting and repetitive motions, falling materials, electrocution, misuse or malfunction of heavy equipment, and hazardous materials spills or exposure.
