Injuries from Car Accidents

Injuries from car accidents can range from minor bumps and bruises to catastrophic personal injuries or even death.  Some of the most common catastrophic personal injuries that result from serious car accidents include severe burns, neck and back injuries, spinal cord injuries, head injuries, and brain injuries.

Anyone who has been involved in a car accident should immediately seek medical attention.  Many injuries do not surface right away and they may not be obvious at the time of the accident.  This is especially true for certain types of injuries, such as those involving soft tissue damage.  Any accident which involves possible injuries to the head, neck or spinal cord must be taken very seriously.  Medical attention must be sought immediately because any delay in diagnosing a serious spinal cord injury or brain injury can lead to dire consequences for the victim.
